				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With the Canadian winter taking an early leave, Spring temperatures and harvest season is upon us at Breviro. We are almost a full month ahead of the normal spring harvest and the caviar is turning out excellent.</p>
<p>In our St. John River and Bay of Fundy geography, Acipenser brevirostrum (Shortnose) start to get ready for spawning as the water temperatures begin to rise towards 10c to 12c. Since we still follow the same temperature cycle and seasonal cycle that our Shortnose sturgeon enjoy in the wild, our early Spring means higher water temperatures are upon us much sooner. The caviar development process is moving along rapidly now and we are very fortunate to be producing already.<br />

Our customers and partners are catching on to the early Spring harvest now and the early birds are definitely getting some excellent caviar. We will be over at the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels (April 24-26) and our European customers will be lucky to have an early crack at 2012′s first production.</p>
<p>Our world-class local Seafood Festival in St. Andrew’s, NB is coming up in early June of 2012. We will be participating once again and it is a great opportunity to see (and taste) a beautiful part of New Brunswick and the Bay of Fundy region.
